PRP Aviation Instructors have taught at Top Gun and have over 70 combined years of professional instructing experience.

Private Pilot

The Private Pilot certificate is the first step on your path towards the skies. PRP Aviation provides instruction to take a student from zero flight hours to certified pilot, and ensures that each student's journey is tailored to their needs.

Requirements

- Be at least 17 years of age

- Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language

- Obtain at least a current third-class medical certificate

- Receive a minimum of 40 hours of flight time including solo flight

- Pass a knowledge test as well as the practical test

PRP Aviation offers more advanced certificates for pilots looking to take their next step in aviation. Just as with training for private piloting, PRP Aviation has developed a syllabus and training protocol to ensure success in the next step of your aviation journey.

Cirrus Training

PRP Aviation offers instruction from Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilots (CSIP). This training helps new SR 20 and SR 22 owners and renters become acclimated to Cirrus Aircraft. CSIP instruction helps pilots remain safe moving into the Cirrus family, while getting the most performance out of the aircraft.
